Free Our Lady of Lourdes Coloring Page [Printable]

The feast day of our Lady of Lourdes is coming up! On this day, we remember our Lady of Lourdes first appearing to the humble St. Bernadette Soubirous.

To help celebrate on Feb. 11, I drew an Our Lady of Lourdes coloring page. Our Blessed Mother is being hugged by St. Bernadette. (Whether St. Bernadette actually hugged her or not, I don't know... but I feel like St. Bernadette must've wanted to at least.)

Free Thanksgiving Printables

We're very excited about the upcoming Thanksgiving feast here at Casa Paper Dali.

In between texts flying about who is bringing what and figuring out where to seat nine kids and their parents, I started making some fun decorations for the dining room. I turned to my beloved construction paper, Sharpies and low-cost laminating system (i.e., packing tape) to create some leaf borders in the room.

Then, I thought I'd share them with you. Here's a free printable of leaf shapes. (The image is smaller than the actual page, so be sure to download it.)

You can use the leaf page as:
  • a coloring page at the table
  • a pattern to cut out and trace on construction paper
  • a placemat (once you've laminated it)
  • a front-door welcome sign
Once I started drawing something for Thanksgiving, I couldn't stop myself, so I made another fun free Thanksgiving printable sheet.

Ideas for how to use those drawings are on the sheet.

If you've any ideas to share, feel free to leave (oh! no pun intended!) in the combox.

Reminder: Prayer Campaign to Protect Unborn Children begins Sept. 29.

Read about an upcoming novena by the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization (hat tip: Evann's blog).

The novena begins on Sept. 29, which is the Feast of the Archangels. You can also download a coloring page of Saint Michael, if you like.  For more information, please visit the official page for the Novena for the Unborn.

You can download my drawing for free as a pro-life coloring page. Just add it to your refrigerator, prayer corner, etc. as a reminder to pray for the unborn and most vulnerable of people.

"If there is a lack of respect for the right to life and to a natural death, if human conception, gestation and birth are made artificial, if human embryos are sacrificed to research, the conscience of society ends up losing the concept of human ecology and, along with it, that of environmental ecology. It is contradictory to insist that future generations respect the natural environment when our educational systems and laws do not help them to respect themselves."
